Antonio Carlos

I write because some questions stay with me long after a conversation, a book, or an experience.

Looking again at what usually goes unnoticed.

I spend much of my time observing everyday life, thinking about the choices we make, and questioning explanations that seem too simple. My books grow out of questions I cannot set aside: how much of our success really depends on us? What changes in our lives when the world around us changes too?

I do not write because I have ready-made answers or because I intend to teach anyone how to live. I write as someone walking alongside the reader. I want to take what seems familiar, look again, and notice what haste, habit, or the certainty that we already understand has kept hidden.

Making a living through writing and philosophy is also my project of freedom. To build it, I study, plan, establish routines, rest, start again, and keep writing. It is the way I have found to speak about what keeps questioning me and to share those questions with other people.
